I have spent the better part of my life working with people with disabilities, helping to integrate them into societal opportunities. I finally burned out and had to leave my job and that is when I went back to school. But i know that I made a very big difference in a lot of lives.

I have been painting for about 16 years. I returned to college about 6 years ago and got my degree in Art and then went on to work on my MA in Art History. I Paint daily and have work on display on various venues on a regular basis. I am passionate about my work painting is something that i do purely from my heart. My ideas rarely are preplanned, they come to me in dreams or when I sit down at my canvas. I work primarily in oils with cold wax. The consistency is thick and tantalizing because it teases to be touched. My work is sometimes compared to Van Gogh.

Reji Syne entered the world of visuals by directing plays
during his college days. To his credit are many plays on themes like
women and children rights and social justice. He then moved on to
television production, where his programmes were noted for social
commitments. Innovative thinking and new perspectives mark Mr. Syne's
works. For the last one decade, he has been producing television
programmes(1000 hours of telvision content till date)on diverse themes
that are related to Indian culture and tradition. He is still
driven by the quest for new visuals and unexplored possibilities of the
medium. It has been officially recorded that he directed the longest
singly shot television programme in Indian history - a 55-minute film in
one shot. He has won many awards, including the State special jury award
for best Director in 2007. Mr. Syne is currently working on an animation
feature based on Manikantan - The legend of Swami Ayappa.
