International Guild of Disabled Artists and Performers
My First Solo Exhibition 3 Dec 2012
WOW it was amazing, the Major of Cooma Monaro Council opened the event, and LOTS of people attended. I sold two pieces of art work, which strengthed my own confidence as an artist. People were buying my art for thier homes.. which is a real honour. I had lots of publicity which I will add, all of which was very complimentary :-) So onwards and upwards :-) Giselle

Change in direction and speed lol
Well I had to face it one day. I have big dreams but the body is not keeping up. I have been permanently retired on a pension. The PSS stated that I can only do my art as a hobby and to this I am using the Tax office guidelines for the definition as the PSS does not have these policies in writing. But I am an Artist and I need to do my art.. even if it is even slower than before lol. so expect a lot less on this page. Sorry guys, but I will try and keep this site updated on what I am doing.…

“...magnificently powerful and unlike what you'll see elsewhere.” - Sid Smith, Chicago Tribune
In 1987 when the Bay Area’s own AXIS Dance Company first performed, gas was 89 cents per gallon, The Simpsons debuted on FOX, and Prozac had only just become available to a country flocking to see a movie called Dirty Dancing, which spawned the catchphrase, “No one puts baby in the…

Just another day at The Off Center Art Center...
I just started being a part of this site with more vigor. Spurred on by the fact I am trying to branch out with the art I do. I was recently a part of a show in another city as a part of the gallery I own. I just submitted art to NADC due to the fact I think risks should be took where one can.
So my advice for all is to take risks. As a man once said "buy the ticket, and take the ride.
